NATIONS HEBDO
Le ministère des Transports terrestres et aériens (MITTA) a démenti les informations diffusées ces derniers jours sur les réseaux sociaux et certaines plateformes de messagerie concernant une prétendue entrée en service de radars sur l’autoroute, accompagnée d’un barème de sanctions pour excès de vitesse.
Dans un communiqué, le ministère précise que l’affiche en circulation n’émane ni de ses services ni des forces de l’ordre. Il souligne que les informations relatives à une limitation de vitesse fixée à 110 km/h, aux retraits de permis, aux gardes à vue ou aux montants des amendes ne reposent sur aucun texte réglementaire en vigueur et n’ont donc aucun caractère officiel.
Le MITTA appelle ainsi les citoyens à faire preuve de vigilance face à la diffusion d’informations non vérifiées, susceptibles d’entretenir la confusion sur une question aussi importante que la sécurité routière. Il rappelle que seules les communications publiées par ses canaux officiels et ceux de ses structures rattachées font foi.
Le ministère confirme toutefois qu’un projet de déploiement d’un système de contrôle automatisé de la circulation routière est effectivement en cours d’élaboration. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans la politique gouvernementale de renforcement de la sécurité routière.
Selon le communiqué, les modalités techniques, juridiques et opérationnelles de ce dispositif sont encore en cours de finalisation. Avant toute mise en service, le ministère assure qu’une communication officielle ainsi qu’une campagne de sensibilisation seront organisées afin d’informer les usagers, conformément au cadre légal et réglementaire en vigueur.
En attendant, le MITTA réaffirme son engagement en faveur de la sécurité de tous les usagers de la route et invite les conducteurs à respecter, en toutes circonstances, les dispositions du Code de la route.
